Learn to Provide First Aid Care with Confidence during Emergency Situations

A brief summary

We provide our trainees with hands-on, confidence-boosting first aid training for work emergencies. Our solutions and courses are tailored to suit your needs, and we offer these courses at locations chosen by you for your convenience. We offer two sorts of first aid courses – emergency first aid at work and first aid at work.

Here’s an overview of these two programs:

  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • First Aid at Work

What you will learn

The first aid course is one of the most crucial courses you can take. In a span of few hours, the course will allow you to gain the knowledge and confidence to provide aid in the event of an emergency. Most people attend first aid training as part of a job requirement as all employers are required by law to have First Aid provision for their employees. However, these abilities can be useful in everyday settings and help save lives, which is why the course is available for everyone.

Emergency First Aid at Work

This one-day course is the minimum requirement for a first-aider to get hired at any workplace. It’s a level 2 course ideal for individuals working in low-hazard environments, such as offices and shops. In this course, we teach you the essentials of first aid care, including casualty management and first aid response.

First Aid at Work

It’s a three-day course for individuals who need to provide emergency care to injured or ill people at work. In this extensive Level 3 course, we teach you the ways to manage specific illnesses and injuries that might go unidentified by a Level 2 first-aider.

This workplace first aid certificates are valid for three years, after which you must apply for a requalification course to acquire a new three-year certification. You can also take annual refresher training to brush up on your skills.

Why Consider First Aid Course?

Fully trained first aiders can provide peace of mind to employees at the workplace while allowing the employer to stay compliant with workplace regulations. There are no hard and fast rules regarding the number of qualified first aiders at the workplace. It all depends on the nature of your job and where you work. Therefore, the RT Centre offers a basic first aid course to provide training that meets our clients' diverse first aid needs. Choose the EFAW course to stay compliant or fulfil your personal or professional safety goals.

Refresher Training & Reassessment

Certificates for workplace first aid are valid for three years. First-aiders must complete a requalification course before their credentials expire to acquire a new three-year certificate. When a first aider's certificate expires, he or she is no longer regarded competent to operate as a workplace first aider. Annual refresher training is also advised for first-aiders to help maintain their fundamental skills up to date.
